So I’m gonna try to start doing some food photography since I need to expand my portfolio anyway! Plus I get to eat some delicious food! In an earlier post, my friend Kenneth and I, along with two other friends went out to eat sushi at Kula in Irvine. Kenneth brought along his newly acquired D90 and I wanted to mess around with it.

I love the feel of the D90, it seems to sit in your hands just right. The lowlight capabilities of the D90 are pretty amazing. These shots are on a 18-200mm 3.5-5.6. These photos are just making me hungry as I do this post :\.

I’m starting to like doing food photography, although, it might be the death of me.

This salmon philadelphia roll was pretty goooood. Since Kula is a revolving sushi bar, all of the plates are two dollars. At first, I was thinking oh man how cheap! That all changed when I was five plates in…

Kenneth grabbed this plate right as he sat down. I didn’t get to try it, but damn that looks amazing…

Here’s a teaser shot with my very good friend Andrew Vu. He just came back from being deployed overseas and now he’s reunited with his baby. Right as he got home, he started wrenching away by installing a full exhaust setup by Yoshimura. Just few of the many goodies he has in store for the GSXR.

I drove out to Fullerton tonight to go meet up with my gooood friend Jennifer for some dinner. We decided to grab some Dos Chinos food truck since they were near her work and plus I’ve never tried it!

The smell from the truck was intoxicating. My mouth was watering the whole time we were waiting for our orders. Jennifer ordered a Half Bolsa and Half Garden Grove fries, which sounds kinda crazy. Even the guys working the truck looked confused! I ordered a burrito but forgot to snap of it before I dug into it.

It was an interesting experience for the first time. The burrito was alright in my opinion but the fries were pretty delicious.

My good friend, Kenneth, hit me up to see if I was down to kick and go grab some dinner with some friends. Of course I was down, so I headed to his house to meet up with him. He surprised me by showing me that he just picked up a Nikon D90!

After we ate dinner, we went up to a nearby structure and started snapping away! Here’s my teaser of our little adventure yesterday night! We took photos of our foood but the photos are on Kenneth’s SD card, so hopefully he’ll upload them soon!

I have a feeling we’re gonna see alot of new adventures in the near future!
